"Tales From the Nest" is a collection
of fairy tales narrated by three slightly neurotic newly-hatched birds.
While waiting for their mother
to return with food, the hungry chicks decide to pass the time by telling
each other stories: "The Bird, The Mouse, and The Sausage" and "Rapunzel,"
both by the Brothers Grimm, and an original tale entitled "The Dragon
Hunter."
The stories are performed by a
full cast of characters including a witch, a dragon, questionable royalty,
maidens-in-distress, knights-in-even-more-distress, and a talking sausage. |
